<p style="text-align: left;">During winter, everyone  get a craving for fresh berries. But fresh berries are expensive off season. Don&#8217;t feel like paying an arm and a leg for a pint of blueberries? Make one of these Blueberry Tart Melt &amp; Pour Soaps instead! Made with <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Blueberry-Jam-Fragrance-Oil-P6494.aspx?" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Blueberry Jam Fragrance Oil</a>, they smell sweet and juicy.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">First, a small layer of brown soap is poured into the <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Round-cupcake-Silicone-Mold-P3247.aspx?" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Round (Cupcake) Silicone Mold</a> to create the look of a crust. White soap is layered on top, and is finished with blueberry soap embeds and a soap drizzle. The &#8220;blueberries&#8221; on top are created with the <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Small-9-Ball-Silicone-Mold-P5472.aspx?" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Small 9 Ball Silicone Mold</a>. For this project I used two <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Small-9-Ball-Silicone-Mold-P5472.aspx?" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Small 9 Ball Silicone Molds</a> to create three blueberry embeds for each soap. If you only have one mold, create the embeds in two batches.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-62812 size-full" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Blueberry-Tart-Melt-and-Pour-Soaps-1.jpg" alt="Blueberry Tart Melt &amp; Pour Soap DIY" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Blueberry-Tart-Melt-and-Pour-Soaps-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Blueberry-Tart-Melt-and-Pour-Soaps-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Blueberry-Tart-Melt-and-Pour-Soaps-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Because this soap does involve a few layers, I recommend having a spray bottle of <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/99-Isopropyl-Alcohol-16-oz-P5682.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">99% isopropyl alcohol</a> nearby. Spraying alcohol between the layers helps the soap stick together. It&#8217;s also great for getting rid of bubbles right after pouring. A <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Infrared-Thermometer-P6087.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">thermometer</a> is also handy for melt and pour layers. If the soap is too hot, it can melt the layer below. I recommend pouring the top layers around 120-130 degrees F to avoid melting.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span id="more-62798"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>What You&#8217;ll Need:<br />

<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/BRAMcustom/kitrecipehandler.ashx?recipe=BlueberryCheesecakeSoap" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter" src="https://images.soapqueen.live/Add-to-Cart-Button.gif" alt="" data-pin-nopin="true" /></a><br />
<strong><a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/BRAMcustom/kitrecipehandler.ashx?recipe=BlueberryCheesecakeSoap" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Click here</a></strong> to add everything you need for this project to your Bramble Berry shopping cart!</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>ONE:</strong> Cut 5 oz. of Clear Melt and Pour Soap into small, even pieces. Place the soap in a heat-safe container and melt on 5 second bursts. Using short bursts prevents the soap from burning. Add shavings of the Ultramarine Blue Oxide Color Block until the soap is a rich blueberry color. Add 3 mL of Blueberry Jam Fragrance Oil and stir to fully incorporate. Pour the soap into the Small 9 Ball Silicone Molds and spritz with <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/99-Isopropyl-Alcohol-16-oz-P5682.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">99% isopropyl alcohol</a> to pop any bubbles. You will have about 1.4 ounces of soap leftover to drizzle on top of each bar. Let the embeds fully harden and cool. This will take about 30 minutes to 2 hours. When they&#8217;re ready, unmold by pushing on the back of each cavity.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62800 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/ONE-3.jpg" alt="one" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/ONE-3.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/ONE-3-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/ONE-3-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>TWO:</strong> Chop 21 oz. of White Melt and Pour into small, even pieces. In a small heat-safe container, measure out 3 ounces of the white soap and melt on 5 second bursts. Add shavings of the Brown Oxide Color Block until you have a medium brown shade. Pour .5 ounces of soap into each cavity of the Round Silicone Cupcake Mold and spritz with alcohol to disperse any bubbles. You can place the mold on a scale to measure out the .5 ounces of soap, or just eyeball it.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62801 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/TWO-3.jpg" alt="two" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/TWO-3.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/TWO-3-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/TWO-3-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>THREE:</strong> While the brown layer hardens, add the remaining 18 oz. of White Melt and Pour Soap to a large heat-safe container and melt on 30-second bursts. Add 0.5 ounces of Blueberrry Jam Fragrance Oil and stir to fully incorporate. When the brown soap is hard and the white soap is 125-130 ° F (cool enough not to melt the brown soap), you&#8217;re ready to pour. Spritz the brown soap with alcohol so the layers stick, and pour the white soap on top. Leave about 1/2 inch of space in each cavity. This will be a third layer that will hold the blueberry embeds in place. Let the white layer harden, which will take 30 minutes to 2 hours.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62806 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/THREE-3.jpg" alt="three" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/THREE-3.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/THREE-3-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/THREE-3-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>FOUR:</strong> Reheat the remaining white soap on 10 second bursts. Spritz the top of the soap and the blueberry embeds with alcohol. Place three embeds on top of each bar. Then, slowly and carefully pour the white soap in until the cavity is full. Spritz with alcohol to disperse any bubbles. Let the soap fully cool and harden, which will take about an hour.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62805 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FOUR-3.jpg" alt="four" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FOUR-3.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FOUR-3-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FOUR-3-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62804 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FIVE-3.jpg" alt="five" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FIVE-3.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FIVE-3-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FIVE-3-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>FIVE:</strong> Unmold by pressing the bottom of each cavity. Reheat the remaining blue soap on 5 second bursts. Spritz the top of the soap with alcohol and drizzle the blue soap on using a dropper. Then, spritz with alcohol again to pop any bubbles. There is no right or wrong way to do this, so have fun! Let the top harden for about 30 minutes and then enjoy! To avoid glycerin dew, wrap them immediately in plastic wrap, set them under a running fan or utilize another airtight packaging option.</p>

Pour the soap into the Small 9 Ball Silicone Molds and spritz with 99% isopropyl alcoholto pop any bubbles. You will have about 1.4 ounces of soap leftover to drizzle on top of each bar. Let the embeds fully harden and cool. This will take about 30 minutes to 2 hours. When they’re ready, unmold by pushing on the back of each cavity.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-73861-step-0-1" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Chop 21 oz. of White Melt and Pour into small, even pieces. You can place the mold on a scale to measure out the .5 ounces of soap, or just eyeball it.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-73861-step-0-2" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">While the brown layer hardens, add the remaining 18 oz. of White Melt and Pour Soap to a large heat-safe container and melt on 30-second bursts. Add 0.5 ounces of Blueberrry Jam Fragrance Oil and stir to fully incorporate. When the brown soap is hard and the white soap is 125-130 ° F (cool enough not to melt the brown soap), you’re ready to pour. Spritz the brown soap with alcohol so the layers stick, and pour the white soap on top. Leave about 1/2 inch of space in each cavity. This will be a third layer that will hold the blueberry embeds in place. Let the white layer harden, which will take 30 minutes to 2 hours.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-73861-step-0-3" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Reheat the remaining white soap on 10 second bursts. Spritz the top of the soap and the blueberry embeds with alcohol. Place three embeds on top of each bar. Then, slowly and carefully pour the white soap in until the cavity is full. Spritz with alcohol to disperse any bubbles. Let the soap fully cool and harden, which will take about an hour.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-73861-step-0-4" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Then, unmold by pressing the bottom of each cavity. To avoid glycerin dew, wrap them immediately in plastic wrap, or another airtight packaging option.</div></li></ul></div></div>
